This research involves developing machine readable knowledge base of corrective incident response actions and establishing frameworks for structuring incident response data such as ontologies, vocabularies, and taxonomies. This proposed framework for an incident response knowledge base, which enables continuous learning of past incidents, will yield a more effective incident response process, enhance organisational knowledge, provide a proactive approach to preventing cyberattacks and building cyber resiliency, and facilitate easier knowledge transfer within the Computer Security Incident Response Team.
